Nancie Roahrig has owned and operated a horse-drawn carriage and pony ride company since 1997 and has been a Caregiver for private individuals since 1994.
* Certified Nursing Certificate since 2002.
* President- Non-profit 501c3 since 2006

She brings her marketing skills, educational development and her many years of knowledge with horses and handling the equipment safely and the organization of schedules.

She has worked with the elderly in residential and Nursing homes providing them with assistance in range of motion, use of a wheelchair, appropriate positioning with soft devices and assistance in a correct and proper transfer. She has experience working with contracted patients, stroke patients, patients who have disabilities both mental and physical and patients with ALS, MS and many other diseases and terminal illnesses. She brings three years of Hospice experience. She has worked with children and adults with their physical needs and they’re emotional needs by listening with comfort and support. She has helped educate patients and families. She has observed and reported relevant patient and family information working as a team. Nancie Roahrig understands and respects patient privacy.

Since 1998 Nancie Roahrig brings experience and references of Equine Assisted Therapy visits. Working with the hospitals, nursing, retirement homes and clinics, Nancie, shares her knowledge. She also educates students at schools and groups in the community through presentations.

Nancie also understands that we are not alone and through the work with her horses she has been able to help others re-connect. Through her love and passion for horses, Nancie Roahrig has been able to share her horses unconditional love with so many who have benefited from their presence.
